Itinerary*
Day 1
Arrive in Bologna and check into your centrally located 4 star hotel before setting out on a guided walking tour of this remarkable city. Discover its rich heritage, from medieval streets and endless porticoes to the historic University of Bologna and the iconic Asinelli Tower. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring regional cuisine and wines. The night is brought to life with an exclusive talk from Daniele Fisichella on the history and identity of Bologna FC.
Day 2
We travel to Parma for a day immersed in elegance, gastronomy, and football culture. Start with a guided walk through the city’s refined architecture, then enjoy a special lunch where local delicacies like Parmigiano Reggiano and Prosciutto di Parma take center stage. As you dine, Danielle Fisichella will lead an exclusive talk on the rise and fall of Parma Calcio, offering fascinating insights into the club’s golden era, its dramatic decline, and its inspiring rebirth. After lunch, we visit the fascinating Parma Calcio Museum, exploring the club’s proud history and identity. In the afternoon, we attend a live fixture featuring one of the region’s clubs such as Parma Calcio, AC Reggiana, or US Sassuolo Calcio before returning to Bologna
Day 3
We begin the morning in Modena with a visit to the renowned Panini Museum, a unique celebration of football history told through its iconic stickers, albums, and global footballing memories. There is then time to enjoy Modena’s elegant centre at leisure before returning to Bologna.
In the afternoon, we arrive at the historic Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, home of Bologna FC. Originally opened in 1927 during Italy’s interwar period, the stadium is one of the country’s most historic football venues and has been extensively redeveloped over time while retaining its classic character. It has also hosted major international tournaments, including the 1990 FIFA World Cup, most famously the round of 16 match between England national football team and Belgium national football team, where David Platt scored a dramatic late volley in extra time.
Day 4
After breakfast, the tour concludes in Bologna. Guests depart with lasting memories of Emilia-Romagna’s football culture, historic cities, and world-class culinary experiences.
*This is the intended itinerary and may change as it is subject to the finalisation of the fixtures around three weeks before the trip. The content of the itinerary should not change however the running order could.

Tour dates and fixture finalisation
Serie A fixtures are not finalised until about 3 weeks before. At this point the day (Fri-Mon) and kick-off time will be released. This is a possibility the Bologna FC fixture does not fit into our weekend and in which case we will attend a suitable alternative in the Emilia-Romagna region. We will definitely attend two live matches over the weekend and at least one of these will be a Serie A match.
Minimum group number required
This tour requires a minimum of 8 people to run. As soon as this number is reached we will confirm the tour so you can then book your flights. In the unlikely even that we need to cancel the tour due to not reaching this number we would return your deposit.
