Itinerary*
Day 1
We'll meet at our hotel just after midday before heading to El Cabanyal, Valencia's colourful old fishing quarter, where traditional fishermen's houses line the streets just a stone's throw from the Mediterranean.
Here, we'll enjoy an authentic Valencian paella, followed by a leisurely sobremesa — the Spanish tradition of lingering around the table after a good meal — accompanied by a fascinating football history talk from Chris Lee.
As night falls, we'll head into Valencia's historic old town to witness La Cremà, the spectacular crescendo of Las Fallas, as towering sculptures are engulfed in flames and the city celebrates in unforgettable style.
Day 2
We'll start the day with a walking tour led by Chris Lee, uncovering the fascinating history of Valencia CF and their legendary Mestalla Stadium, a cathedral of Spanish football for over a century.
We'll then head to Valencia's magnificent Central Market, a treasure trove of local delicacies and traditional Valencian cuisine, where you'll be spoilt for choice for lunch.
Later, it's time for the main event as we head to Mestalla to soak up the electric atmosphere of Spanish football, watching Valencia take on Deportivo La Coruña in one of the final matches at this legendary stadium, with the club expected to make its long-awaited move to the Nou Mestalla at the end of the season.
Day 3
Today, our attention turns to Valencia's other football club, Levante UD, the city's oldest team. We'll begin with a guided tour of their Estadio Ciutat de València, exploring the club's fascinating history and discovering some unexpected features, including its very own chapel!
After lunch, we'll visit the site of the long-awaited Nou Mestalla, Valencia CF's future home, and reflect on the changing face of football in the city as one iconic stadium prepares to make way for another.
Later, we'll return to the Estadio Ciutat de València for our second match of the weekend, as Levante take on Osasuna in another exciting encounter of Spanish football.
Day 4
After one final breakfast together, it's time to say goodbye to Valencia and our newfound friends. We'll reflect on an unforgettable weekend of football, fascinating history, fantastic food and the fiery spectacle of Las Fallas, taking home lasting memories of this remarkable city and its footballing heritage.
With new friendships forged and plenty of stories to share, we'll make our way home.
*This is the intended itinerary and may change as it is subject to the finalisation of the fixtures. The Mestalla match experience will be prioritised and definitely completed. The Levante element of the itinerary could potentially be replaced with a day trip to Villarreal where we would watch Villarreal v Malaga.

Tour dates and fixture finalisation
Whilst the 2026-2027 fixture lists for La Liga have been released the exact day and kick-off times for each week are only released about 2-4 weeks in advance. La Liga usually try to schedule Valencia and Levante home matches on different days of the weekend when they are both scheduled to play at home. Should these two matches clash when they are eventually finalised we will watch a suitable alternative which would likely be Villarreal v Malaga.
Minimum group number required
This tour requires a minimum of 8 people to run. As soon as this number is reached we will confirm the tour so you can then book your flights. In the unlikely even that we need to cancel the tour due to not reaching this number we would return your deposit.
